Lillehammer (NTB): The information director of the International Olympic
Committee (IOC), Andrew Napier, says he will turn down an application
from british journalist Andrew Jennings if he applies for accreditation
to the Lillehammer games and the main press center.

Jennings, together with Vyv Simson has written the book "The Lords of
the Rings", and is known as the IOCs foremost critic. He accuses the IOC
of being an exclusive and greedy rich mans club devoid of moral values.
Jennings arrived at Lillehammer monday, without tickets and without
press accreditation.

Napier informs NTB that Jennings applied for accreditation two
months after the deadline, and takes this as a sign that Jennings
does not really wish to be admitted to the olympics sites. In answer
to the question whether he would have been admitted anyway if he applied,
Napier answers: - I would probably have turned him down.
